Refund Policy

Effective 1 September 2026

Short version: if you have barely used it, you get your money back. If you have used most of it, you get back the part you did not use. If we broke something or charged you twice, you get all of it back.

Within 14 days of a payment

  • No minutes used — full refund, no questions.
  • Some minutes used — we refund the unused portion of the period, pro rata. If you separated 100 of a 500-minute allowance, you are refunded for the 400 you did not.

Free previews do not count against this. They cost you nothing, so using them does not reduce a refund.

After 14 days

We do not refund the period you are currently in. You can cancel at any time — your plan then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew, so you are never charged for a month you did not want.

Always refunded in full, at any time

  • Duplicate charges. If you were billed twice for the same period, the second charge comes back in full.
  • Our failure. If the service was unavailable or producing broken results for a meaningful part of your billing period, we refund it. You do not have to argue the point — tell us what happened and we will look at our own logs.
  • Charged after cancelling. If a renewal went through after you cancelled, that is our mistake and it comes back in full.

How to ask

Email support@stemx.app from the address on your account and say what you would like refunded. You do not need a reason for a 14-day request.

We reply within 2 business days. Once approved, the refund is issued through Paddle, our payment provider, and normally reaches your card or account within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. Paddle issued the original charge, so the refund returns by the same route.

Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page reduces rights you have by law. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, and Paddle honours that regardless of what we say here. Where your local law gives you more than this policy does, your local law wins.

Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please email us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute, and we would rather fix the problem than win an argument about it.
